 Internship Opportunities for 2012

Minimum commitment: 12 weeks  an 12 – 16 hours per week negotiable

Stipend of up to $2500 to be provided based on work plan milestones achieved

The internship is flexible enough to allow for the integration of the background, experience and interest of the successful candidate.

Some examples of focus areas we could support:

Marketing & Sales

• Evaluate and improve a marketing plan and further integrate it with business development and sales processes in order to enhance our engagement with potential customers.
• Perform research into market needs as part of development of marketing plan.
• Work with CEO and Practice teams to translate the market needs to product and service roadmap and market positioning
• Support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns, through channels including Integrative Growth’s website, Google Adwords, online community presence (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.)

 Applied Research

• Conduct literature reviews
• Write article abstracts
• Conduct meta analysis
• Prepare brown bags for internal development
• Write paper abstracts for Integrative Growth submission to selected conferences
• Reviewing promising low carbon solutions in the urban environment and any behavioral programs that support their introduction and acceptance.
• Reviewing promising practices in product development and go-to-market approaches to accelerate the market uptake of emerging technologies in energy conservation, demand response and renewable fuels.

 Qualifications:

• You are working towards an undergraduate degree with relevant course work and have achieved senior status.
• You are working under the direction of the internship office and/ or a faculty advisor.
• You possess strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite platform, knowledge of online and social media
• You have a passion for energy efficiency, conservation and sustainability.
